Email from a lead or customer goes only to their own address

Send email on the Activity tab stayed on for records with no email address, and any address could be typed in. Both are fixed: email from a record goes only to its own address.

What was wrong

On a lead with no email address, the Send email button at the top of the page was switched off, but the one on the Activity tab still opened, and whatever address was typed into To was sent to.

Now the Activity tab’s Send email is off too, To is the record’s own address and cannot be changed, and the server refuses mail from a record to any other address. Colleagues can still be copied in with Cc or Bcc.

Does this affect anything you already have?

No. Emails already sent are unchanged. Your mailbox works as before for writing to anybody.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
