Invoice a quotation in instalments
A long job is not paid for at the end. A business that waits until the end funds its customer's project out of its own bank account.

What was missing
A quotation became an invoice, once, for all of it. That is right for goods and wrong for work: a six-month job billed on the last day is six months of somebody else’s costs carried on your overdraft.
The tracking already here counts quantities: half the boxes now, half in March. It cannot express a third of a fixed-price job, where there is one line, one unit and three payments.
How it works
Switch it on
Settings → Plugins → Sales documents, with “From a quotation, raise” set to An invoice directly, or Either. Off by default, because most quotations become one invoice.
Open an accepted quotation
Choose Invoice part of it from the menu.
Say how much
The whole thing; a percentage or an amount across the quotation; a figure for each line; or whatever is left.
Check the two numbers
The dialog shows what this invoice comes to and what remains after it, before you press anything.
Do it again
As many times as the job takes, until nothing is left.
What it will not let you do
Bill more than you quoted
Every mode reduces to a fraction of each line, and every fraction is checked against what that line has left.
Lose the last rupee
The final instalment is asked for as “the remaining balance” rather than a percentage, because three payments of a third do not add up.
Bill the same work twice
A quotation that has become a sales order is invoiced through that order, where the deliveries are tracked.
Claim to be finished when it is not
The quotation reads Partly invoiced, then Invoiced, worked out from the invoices, so deleting one puts it back.
What the customer sees
The quantity stays as quoted and the line says what fraction of it this invoice is: “30% of the quoted ₹1,00,000”. A customer holding a quotation for a lakh and an invoice for thirty thousand is owed that sentence.
Freight and other charges follow the same proportion. Billing all of it on the first instalment would make that invoice wrong and the last one short.
Does this affect anything existing?
Nothing changes until you switch it on. Quotations already converted keep their status and their invoices.
One related change applies either way: an accepted quotation can no longer be edited by default, because what the customer agreed to is what it says. Revise it instead, or allow it in the same settings card, in which case editing leaves the status alone.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
