Money paid on a retainer invoice can now be applied to the invoices that follow
A retainer invoice is an advance for the invoices that follow, and the money could never reach one: a payment on a retainer counted as spent on the retainer. Now it is held there as an advance, Apply an advance on an invoice lists it, and the retainer closes on its own once all of it is applied.

What was wrong
A retainer invoice asks for money before the work, to be set against the invoices that come after. When its payment was recorded, the money was counted as spent on the retainer itself. So Apply an advance on the next invoice said the customer had no money on account, although its own text promised a paid retainer would appear there.
And a retainer had a Close button that checked nothing, so it could read Closed with none of its money applied anywhere.
How it works now
Held as an advance
A payment recorded against a retainer is held there, still the customer’s money on account, until it is applied.
Apply an advance
On the invoice that follows, ⋯ › Apply an advance lists it, marked Paid against and the retainer’s number. Apply all of it or part of it.
The retainer keeps count
Its page shows an Advance panel: collected, applied, left, and the invoices it went to, each one press away.
Closes on its own
Once everything it collected is applied, the retainer closes. There is no Close button any more, and it opens again if a payment behind it is deleted.
In Tally
A receipt still goes as an advance while its money is held on the retainer. Once some of it is applied, the receipt is sent again with that part set against the invoice instead, so the voucher always adds up to the money received.
Does this affect anything you already have?
A retainer closed by hand with money still unapplied reads Paid again, with what is left to apply. No payment, invoice or amount changes.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
