Dark mode: light, dark, or follow your device, and a clearer notifications panel
Every screen in JAI CRM can now be dark. Each person chooses light, dark or their device setting, the business chooses what everyone starts with, and the notifications panel has been redrawn.

What is new
JAI CRM was light only. Somebody working late, or on a phone set to dark everywhere else, had a bright white page with nothing to be done about it. Every screen in the suite now has a dark version as well, and each person chooses which they see.
What you will see
A palette icon in the top bar
Beside the bell. It opens Appearance, with three choices: Light, Dark, and System. On a phone it is under your picture, as Appearance.
System follows your device
Choose System and JAI CRM turns dark when your phone or computer does, in the evening for example, and light again when it changes back.
Yours on every device
The choice is saved to your account, so it is the same in every browser and in the Android app you sign in to.
A default for the whole business
Settings, Business profile, Appearance sets what everyone starts with. People who choose their own keep it, and can return to the business default from the same panel.
A clearer notifications panel
The bell now opens a proper panel: a heading with how many are unread, each notification with an icon and room to read it, unread ones marked with a dot, and Mark all read and See all notifications always in view.
Paper stays white
Anything printed from the browser, such as a statement, labels or a packing slip, prints in the light colours whichever appearance you use.
Does this affect anything you already have?
No. Everyone stays on Light until they or their business choose otherwise. Invoices, quotations and every other document you send are unchanged. The guide to appearance has the steps.

What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
