Budget lines read in full on a phone

On a phone, an open budget (Accountant › Budgets) showed each account as one cut-off line: its code, a letter or two of its name and part of the planned figure. What was actually spent, what is left and how much is used were not shown at all. Each account now has a card of its own with its code and full name, then Planned, Actual, Left and Used, every figure in full. Left is red when the account has gone over its plan, and Edit and the bin sit on the card as they do on the desktop row.

What changed

📝

The whole name

The account’s code and full name are shown, over two or three lines when the name is long, instead of being cut off after a letter or two.

📊

All four figures

Planned, Actual, Left and Used sit two to a row, each figure to the paisa. A figure in crores takes a row of its own rather than being cut short.

🔴

Over plan in red

Left shows in red when more has been spent than planned, as it does on a computer.

✏

Edit from the card

Edit opens the account’s month by month figures, and the bin asks before taking the account out of the budget.

Does this change anything you already have?

No. Your budgets and their figures are unchanged; only how an open budget is shown on a phone is new. On a computer the table is as it was. The Android app has this from version 1.3.200.

Pricing

Per user, per month. Every plan carries the whole product’s foundations (custom fields, roles, reports, documents and notifications) and differs only in how many modules are switched on. Change plan whenever you like; nothing is re-entered and nothing is lost.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
