Debit notes become vendor credit: spend it on another bill or record the refund
A debit note is now money the vendor owes you back, the way Zoho Books keeps vendor credits. It is spent on its own bill as far as that bill still owes, and the rest stays on the note, to set against another of their bills or to record when they refund it. Before, a debit note on a bill you had already paid simply disappeared.

What is new
Nothing disappears
A debit note used to add its whole total to its bill and lose whatever the bill could not take. On a paid bill, that was all of it. Now the rest stays on the note as the vendor’s credit, shown on the note with what is left to use.
Spend it on another bill
Apply to a bill lists only that vendor’s bills that still owe money, at the cash still to pay them. The bill’s balance comes down and the rest stays on the note.
Record the refund
When the vendor pays it back, record the refund into the bank account it arrived in. It shows on the statement, and in Payments received under the vendor’s name.
TDS worked out properly
On a paid bill that carried TDS, a debit note lowers the TDS too, and that part is the vendor’s again. A ₹59,000 note on a paid ₹1,18,000 bill with 10% TDS leaves ₹54,000 for them to repay, not ₹59,000.
Every step can be undone
Take back credit spent on a bill, or a refund recorded by mistake, from the note. A refunded note cannot be cancelled, and a bill with credit spent on it cannot be cancelled or deleted, until those are taken back.
The same on credit notes
A refund against a credit note can now be taken back from the note too. The payments lists send you to the note rather than deleting a refund behind its back, and Tally receives a refund under the right party.
Does this change anything you already have?
Debit notes already issued were carried over. Each is spent on its bill as before, so no bill’s balance moves; a note that was larger than what its bill still owed now shows the difference as the vendor’s credit, where it used to vanish. Applied is no longer a button on a credit or debit note: a note shows Applied by itself once nothing is left on it.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
