Quotations with headings, notes and more than one tax
Group items under headings, write notes between them, and apply more than one tax to a line, named for what it actually is.

The tax you choose is the tax that is charged
Picking VAT on a line of an Indian business produced a total headed GST. The number was right and the name was wrong, which is worse than a wrong number: a wrong number gets queried, and a wrong name gets sent to a customer.
The label was coming from the business’s tax regime rather than from the rate on the line. A rate already knows what it is made of: an Indian 18% holds CGST 9, SGST 9 and IGST 18; a VAT rate holds one VAT component. That was simply never consulted. It is now.
What a document can hold now
Sections
Group the items under headings (Products, Services) with everything beneath the one it belongs to.
Notes between the lines
A line of prose explaining what is above it, which is not a priced row and is not treated as one.
A picture on a line
For anybody selling something that is easier to recognise than to describe.
More than one tax per line
A local levy on top of the main rate, each shown separately in the total rather than merged into one figure.
More than one tax on a charge
Freight can carry a service tax and a port levy at once: a charge is a priced row like any other.
Every tax named in the total
The breakdown lists what was actually applied, under the name it was applied as.
Why place of supply stays
It is not a display preference. It is what decides CGST and SGST against IGST, and removing it would make every Indian invoice wrong at filing time. What was actually broken was the assumption that every rate is a GST rate, and that is what changed.
- A VAT line reads VAT
- A GST line still reads CGST and SGST, or IGST across state lines
- A rate with no components of its own still falls back to the regime, so nothing that worked before stops working
- Headings and notes never reach the tax engine, which has nothing to do with them
Does this affect anything existing?
Existing documents are untouched. Every line on them is an item, which is what a line was before, and their totals recalculate to the same figures.
One behaviour changes. A line whose tax rate carries its own components is now labelled by that rate rather than by the business’s regime. For a business filing GST with GST rates, that is the same answer it always gave.
Also fixed: the download button on an attached file did nothing, because a plain link carries no credentials and the file came back refused. Anything a browser can show now has a view button beside it.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
