An export was charged CGST and SGST
A customer in Singapore, marked overseas on his own record, was charged CGST 9% and SGST 9%. Three faults sat behind that, and the third one meant an invoice sent last year could change its tax this year.

The record was right. The invoice was not.
A subscription renewal went out to a customer in Singapore charging CGST and SGST. That is not a rate an export has. An export is zero rated under LUT, or IGST without one.
His customer record said so plainly: GST treatment overseas, country SG. Nothing was missing. The invoice ignored it.
Three faults, one invoice
A blank that shouted
Whether a supply is an export is three answers, not two: yes, no, and nobody has said. The document could only hold two, and its unspoken “no” was applied over the customer’s “yes”. An invoice raised by anything other than the editor (a subscription renewal, a scheduled job) therefore treated every overseas customer as domestic. Undecided is now a state a document can be in, and the customer answers it.
A guess printed as a fact
Under GST the split turns on two states: where the supply comes from and where it goes. When either was unknown the engine quietly treated them as the same one, so a customer in Hyderabad billed from Uttar Pradesh got CGST and SGST because nobody had recorded his state. Issuing a document whose tax would be a guess is now refused, and the message names the field to fill.
A tax that could change later
A document that carried no place of supply had its tax worked out afresh from the customer every time anybody opened it. Correct a customer’s state in March and an invoice sent last year quietly becomes IGST instead of CGST and SGST: the same paper, a different tax, and nothing saying so. The treatment is now fixed onto the document the moment it is issued.
A draft is still somewhere to work
None of this bites while you are drafting. A draft follows the customer, so correcting a customer’s state corrects the draft, and nothing refuses to save because a record is short of a field. Refusing at that point stops the work rather than the mistake.
It is at the moment of issuing, when the document stops being a note to yourself and becomes evidence, that it has to know what tax it is charging.
And only where GST applies
The check is specific to Indian GST. A business on VAT, on sales tax, or on no tax at all never meets it, and neither does an export, which needs no place of supply to begin with. Nor does a document that charges no tax.
Separately: a subscription for a customer who pays in dollars was created in rupees, because the currency field had always been there and had never started anywhere sensible. It now begins at the customer’s currency.
Does this affect anything you already have?
Documents already issued are untouched, deliberately. An invoice that has gone to a customer must go on saying what it said, whatever it said. Changing it quietly would be the same fault in the other direction.
If one of them carries the wrong treatment, correct it the way tax invoices are corrected: a credit note and a fresh invoice. New documents from today follow the customer.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
