Reports that run, and arrive on their own

Nine Sales and CRM reports with charts and detail rows, exportable as CSV or PDF, and schedulable by e-mail.

What changed

Reports was previously a page of links pointing at other modules’ pivot views. “Sales by customer” was an invoice list with a grouping applied: no period to choose, no chart, nothing to export, and no way for the figures to reach anyone who was not going to open the app and go looking.

There are now nine reports that each answer one question over one period, with the rows behind every figure.

The nine

Pipeline by stage

Open deals by stage, owner, source or pipeline, with the weighted value alongside the raw one.

Lead funnel

How many enquiries reach each stage and how many convert.

Lead sources

Which sources bring volume, and which bring conversion. Rarely the same ones.

Win and loss

What was won and lost, by owner, reason given and competitor.

Sales over time

Invoiced against collected, month by month.

Sales by customer

Who buys most, what they paid, what is still owed.

Quotation conversion

Read from the document chain, so a quote turned into an order by hand still counts.

What sells

Items by value and by quantity, from invoice lines.

Receivables ageing

Who owes you, in bands, with days overdue per invoice.

Scheduling

A report nobody remembers to open is a report nobody reads. Schedules run one and send it without anybody doing anything.

  • Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly, at an hour you choose
  • PDF, CSV or both, attached, with the headline figures in the message itself
  • Any mix of staff and plain e-mail addresses — your accountant needs no login
  • The period resolves when it fires, so a monthly report always covers the month that just ended

How to schedule one

Does this affect anything existing?

No data changes. Reports only read; nothing in this release writes to your records.

One new table was added to store schedules. If you had bookmarked a link on the old Reports page, four of them pointed at addresses that did not exist and have been corrected — those bookmarks will now resolve.

Mail must be configured for schedules to deliver. Until SMTP is set up, a scheduled report is produced and logged rather than sent, and the schedule list says so against each run.
