It stops asking you to sign in
Opening the app asked for your email and password, every time. The thirty-day credential that exists to stop that was being destroyed by anything that failed once: a restart, a tunnel, a moment of bad signal.
14 days free · nothing to install · your data exports whenever you want
What was happening
You signed in. Later (the next morning, or after a few minutes on a bad connection), it asked again. And again. On Android it asked every single time.
Nothing was wrong with your account, and nothing was wrong with the server. The sign-in that was meant to last thirty days was being thrown away by the app itself.
Two things, both the same mistake
A short pass and a long one
Signing in gives you two things: a pass that lasts thirty minutes, and a credential that lasts thirty days and quietly fetches a new pass whenever the old one runs out. You never see either.
Opening the app never asked for a new pass
It found the thirty-minute one expired and went straight to the sign-in screen, without ever asking the thirty-day credential sitting right beside it for a fresh one.
And clearing the short one destroyed the long one
So anything that failed once (an update restarting the server mid-request, a train going into a tunnel) did not cost you thirty minutes. It cost you the whole thirty days, permanently.
What it does now
Opening the app asks for a fresh pass before it decides anybody needs to type a password. If the answer is yes, you are simply in.
And the long credential is only ever forgotten for two reasons: you signed out, or the server said it is no longer valid. A request that merely failed (a bad moment of signal, a server restarting) no longer signs you out of anything.
Signing out still forgets it completely, which matters on a shared phone: the next person to open the app gets the sign-in screen, not your business.
The Android app needs updating once
The app carries its own copy of the screens inside it (that is deliberate, it is why it opens instantly on a weak connection), so a change on the website does not reach a phone on its own.
Install version 1.3.5 (build 16) and the app will stay signed in from then on. Settings → The app tells you which build you are running and offers the newer one.
Inside the app there was a second reason this kept happening, worth saying because it explains why the phone was worse than the browser: the app was not always certain it was an app. That answer was worked out once, a fraction of a second after starting, and if it came back wrong it stayed wrong for the whole session. And a session that does not know it is on a phone never stores anything to sign back in with. It asks properly now.
Does this affect anything you already have?
Nothing changed except how long you stay signed in. No data moved, no permission changed, and nobody was signed out by this going live.
You will need to sign in once more after updating. The credential from before was already gone, which is the whole problem. After that it should hold for thirty days.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
