The photographs come back
A photograph attached to a lead showed a grey icon and a filename. Inside the Android app it was worse than that: no picture loaded anywhere in the product, including your own logo. Both are fixed, every attachment can now be downloaded, and the button that records where a visit happened works on a phone for the first time.

What you were seeing
Open a lead, go to Attachments, and six photographs somebody took on site showed six grey icons with six filenames underneath. The files were never lost. They were on the server the whole time, and the Download button in other parts of the product fetched them perfectly well.
That is the part worth being plain about: this had never worked, for anybody, on any device. It was not a recent break and it was not only the phone. The picture was asked for in a way that arrived without proof of who was asking, so the server declined it, and a declined picture and a missing picture look exactly the same in a browser.
Three separate things were wrong
A picture that asked without identifying itself
Every other request the product makes carries your sign-in with it. An image on a page makes its own request and carries nothing, so the server, correctly, refused to hand over a file belonging to your business. The browser drew its broken-image icon, which reads as a lost file rather than a refused one.
And inside the app, no picture at all
The Android app carries its own copy of the screens so it opens instantly on a weak connection. That also means an address written as “on this server” points at the phone, where there is nothing. Item photographs, your business logo on every screen and every printed document, the logo on a kiosk, profile pictures: none of them could load inside the app.
Task attachments could not be opened at all
A file attached to a task was a card with a filename on it. Tapping it did nothing: no preview, no open, no download. It had never been wired to anything.
What it does now
Photographs attached to a record are shown as photographs. Tap one and it opens full size without fetching it a second time.
Everything can be downloaded. There is a download control on each photograph, on each file, and inside the enlarged view, and on a phone that hands the file to Android, so it can go straight into WhatsApp or be saved to the gallery. That was asked for and it was missing.
Task attachments show their photographs, open when tapped, and download, all for the first time. Files attached to a quotation or an invoice now show a thumbnail rather than a row of filename text.
One smaller thing that mattered more on a phone than it sounds: the delete control on a photograph only appeared when a mouse hovered over it. A phone has nothing to hover with, so on a phone it was a control nobody could reach. It is always visible where there is no pointer, and both controls are now a proper thumb-sized target.
Capture where I am, on a phone
A visit records where it happened. On a phone that button did nothing at all: no pin, and a message advising you to allow location “at the padlock beside the address”, inside an app that has no address bar.
The reason was not in the screen. The app had never asked Android for permission to know where it is. With no permission declared there is nothing for Android to offer you, so the request was refused before it ever reached the hardware.
It now asks properly: the first time you use it, Android shows its own permission dialog. Either answer is respected, and a refusal says what to do about it in words that match where you actually are.
The Android app needs updating once
None of the app-side fixes reach a phone on their own, for the same reason the pictures broke: the app carries its own copy of the screens inside it.
Install version 1.3.9. Settings → App update tells you which build you are running and offers the newer one.
This build asks for location permission, which earlier ones did not. It is used only while you are looking at the screen and pressing the button. The app does not track anybody in the background, and it does not ask for the separate permission that would let it.
Does this affect anything you already have?
No file moved and nothing was deleted. Every photograph and document that appeared to be missing was on the server throughout, and is now simply visible. Nothing needs re-uploading.
No permission inside the product changed. Who can see which attachment is decided exactly as before: by whether you can see the record it hangs on.
On the website everything behaves as it did; the fix changes only how an address is worked out, and on the website that answer is the same one as before.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
