The POS Menu search finds items, and an expense can be given a category

Typing in the search on Point of sale, Menu now narrows the list, and the Menu shows the whole catalogue rather than the newest 30 items. The Category box on an expense or a bill lists your categories instead of saying Nothing matches.

What was wrong

On Point of sale, Menu, the search box filtered nothing: whatever was typed, every item stayed on the list. The Menu also showed only the 30 items added most recently, so in a larger catalogue an older item could not be found there, or switched on for the counter.

On an expense or a bill, the Category box always said Nothing matches, however many categories the business had. It asked for a list that did not exist, so a category could not be chosen from the form, and the monthly spend breakdown counted those rows as Uncategorised.

What is new

🔍

Menu search finds the item

Type part of a name, a SKU or a barcode and the Menu narrows to the items that match.

📦

The whole catalogue

The Menu lists up to 200 items at once, not the newest 30. In a catalogue larger than that, search finds the rest.

🏷

Categories to choose from

The Category box on an expense or a bill lists the business’s categories and narrows as you type.

🔒

Retired categories stay retired

A category marked inactive is no longer offered. An expense that already has one still shows it.

Does this affect anything you already have?

No records change. Expenses and bills saved without a category stay Uncategorised until one is chosen on them. Which items are on the counter, and what each shop has today, are exactly as they were.

Pricing

Start with what you need. Grow into the rest.

Per user, per month. Every plan carries the whole product’s foundations (custom fields, roles, reports, documents and notifications) and differs only in how many modules are switched on. Change plan whenever you like; nothing is re-entered and nothing is lost.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
