A bill shows its payments, payments made can be corrected, and the Accountant role reads the books

A purchase bill now lists the payments that paid it, and a payment made can have its date, mode and reference corrected. The Accountant role opens the trial balance, ledgers, financial reports and transaction locking. And five smaller fixes in Books and Accountant.

What changed

🧾

A bill shows its payments

The bill’s page lists every payment that paid it, as an invoice lists its own, and each can be corrected or deleted from there.

✎

Correct a payment made

A payment made can have its date, mode, reference and cheque details corrected. A different amount is still a payment deleted and recorded again, because it is split across bills with their TDS.

🔑

The Accountant role reads the books

The built-in Accountant role could write journals but not open the trial balance, ledgers, financial reports or transaction locking. It has all four now, in every business.

🛠

Smaller fixes

An expense cannot be edited below what has been paid on it. A TDS entry made by a bill, an expense or a payment keeps its amount; change it on the record. Payments received names the invoices each payment settled. GSTR-1 states the B2C large limit for the month (₹1,00,000 since August 2024). Journal templates opens on the templates, and Reverse on a journal shows to those allowed to write one.

Does this change anything you already have?

Accountant roles gain the four permissions; a business that removed any of them from its Accountant role keeps its own choice. Nothing else already recorded changes.

Pricing

Start with what you need. Grow into the rest.

Per user, per month. Every plan carries the whole product’s foundations (custom fields, roles, reports, documents and notifications) and differs only in how many modules are switched on. Change plan whenever you like; nothing is re-entered and nothing is lost.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
