Each report answers one question over one period, and shows the rows behind the figures — because a total nobody can break down is a total nobody trusts.
Steps
- Go to Reports and pick one.
- Choose a period — this month through last year, the last 7, 30 or 90 days, the last 12 months, or your own dates.
- Where a report offers Group by, change it. Pipeline can be read by stage, owner, source or pipeline; win and loss by owner, reason or competitor.
- Read the headline figures, the chart, and the table underneath it.
- Export as CSV for a spreadsheet or PDF to send to somebody.
What each report answers
- Pipeline by stage — where the open deals sit, and the weighted value.
- Lead funnel — how many reach each stage and how many convert.
- Lead sources — which sources bring enquiries, and which actually convert.
- Win and loss — what was won and lost, by whom, and the reasons given.
- Sales over time — invoiced against collected, month by month.
- Sales by customer — who buys most and what is still owed.
- Quotation conversion — read from the document chain, not a status field.
- What sells — items by value and quantity.
- Receivables ageing — who owes you and for how long.
