A proforma to pay against, and a tax invoice once you have
An invoice should describe money that actually arrived. A bank transfer needs a document to quote. Both are true, and the answer is the one Indian practice has always used.

Two things that were both true
A tax invoice ought to describe a payment that actually happened. That is what makes your invoice list a record rather than a wish list. Add-ons already worked that way.
But a workspace bought by bank transfer needs a document to quote on the transfer. You cannot ask somebody for money and withhold the paperwork.
Previously the second won: a full tax invoice was raised the moment a workspace was created, before a rupee had moved, consuming a number from the GST series for a sale that might never happen.
A proforma first, then the tax invoice
Creating a workspace now raises a proforma: a document to pay against, with its own reference in its own series. It is not a tax invoice and does not pretend to be one.
When the payment lands, that same document becomes the tax invoice: it takes its number from the GST series, is dated the day the money arrived, and appears in Invoices. No number is taken from the tax series for money that has not arrived.
The proforma reference is kept beside the new number rather than overwritten, because you quoted it on the transfer and it is on your bank statement. A reference that stops resolving is a reconciliation nobody can finish.
What that means in practice
Pay by transfer as before
The proforma is what you quote. Nothing about how you pay has changed.
Your Invoices list is real
Everything in it describes money that arrived. Nothing sits there waiting to be true.
Part payment stays a proforma
A tax invoice is raised when the amount is settled, not when some of it is.
Does this affect anything you already have?
Every invoice you already hold is unchanged. Nothing has been renumbered, reissued or withdrawn, and this applies to workspaces bought from here on.
If you are mid-way through buying a second workspace, the document you were given is still the one to pay. It simply becomes your tax invoice once you have.
Worth showing your accountant if they reconcile our invoices against your books: the change is that a tax invoice number now appears on payment rather than on order.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
