Events was early access, switched on by request. It now comes with every plan that has CRM and Sales Documents, at no extra cost, and it is already switched on for businesses on those plans: scan visiting cards at a stall, file them as leads, customers or suppliers, and see what each exhibition actually earned.

What changed

Events used to be early access: it was in no plan, and we switched it on for a business when asked. It is now part of every plan that has CRM and Sales Documents, including CRM + Sales Documents from ₹149 per user per month. There is nothing extra to pay.

If your business is on one of those plans, Events is already switched on. You will find it in the sidebar.

What you can do with it

Scan visiting cards

Photograph the front, then the back. QR codes on a card are read too, and every field lands in the right place: several numbers and emails, GSTIN, city, state and PIN.

Say it, do not type it

Hold to record a few seconds about the conversation. It is written out and kept with the person.

File each card

As a lead, a customer or a supplier, matched against people you already know rather than duplicated. Filing raises a follow-up task for the owner, due in 48 hours.

See what the stall earned

Costs against money actually received from the people you met, person by person, with no verdict before the fair has had time to pay.

What it needs

Events works with CRM and Sales Documents: a card becomes a lead or a customer, and what a fair earned is counted from the invoices they pay. Vendors is optional, and lets you file a card as a supplier you met at the fair.

Does this change anything you already have?

Your price does not change. Events appears in the sidebar of businesses on these plans, and your roles already carry its permissions, so the people who handle sales can use it straight away. If a business had Events switched off by hand, it stays off.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
