GST now reads the state however it was typed, and branches invoice under their own GSTIN
Whether a sale is charged CGST and SGST or IGST depends on two states: yours and your customer's. Several places could not read a state typed as a word, and some invoices went out without recording either. They now read it, and record it.

What was wrong
GST is split by comparing two states. If your business and your customer are in the same state, the invoice charges CGST and SGST. If they are in different states, it charges IGST. The customer screen asks for the billing state in words, such as “Maharashtra”, but the tax engine only read a two-digit code or a GSTIN. So a customer with only the state name filled in counted as having no state at all.
There were four more gaps. A branch registered in another state still invoiced under the head office’s state and GSTIN. A customer whose country was typed as “India” rather than “IN” was treated as being abroad. The till charged an out-of-state customer IGST, even for goods handed over at the counter. And subscription invoices went out without the checks every other invoice passes, and without recording which states they were taxed under.
What changes
A state in any form
“Maharashtra”, “MH”, “27” and a GSTIN starting 27 all mean Maharashtra, for customers, vendors, companies and branches. The code is worked out and saved whenever the record is saved.
Readable state lists
The Place of supply list shows state names with their codes, such as “Maharashtra (27)”, instead of a column of numbers.
Branches use their own registration
An invoice raised from a branch with its own GSTIN is taxed from that branch’s state, and prints that branch’s GSTIN and address. A branch without its own GSTIN uses the business’s, as before.
Counter sales are taxed at the store
Goods handed over at the counter are supplied where the store is, so a counter sale charges CGST and SGST for every customer, whichever state they are from. If the store’s state is not on record, the till says so instead of guessing.
Subscription invoices pass the same checks
An automatic subscription invoice now goes through the same approval, tax and reporting-tag checks as any other invoice. If one cannot go out, for example because the customer has no state on record, it stays a draft and the subscription’s activity says why.
Every invoice records its states
Invoices from subscriptions, recurring schedules and the till now record the place of supply and your state, as the Sales screen always has. That is what GST returns and exports read.
Does this affect anything you already have?
No amounts or taxes on existing documents have changed. Customers, vendors and companies with a state written in words, or a GSTIN, now also have the state code saved. Branch states saved as letters, such as “MH”, are now saved as codes. Issued invoices that never recorded their states now have them filled in from the tax they actually charged. In the GSTR-1 report, inter-state invoices that were missing their place of supply were listed under your own state; they now appear under the customer’s.
One thing to check: if a customer on a subscription has no state at all (no state, place of supply or GSTIN), their next invoice will wait as a draft until you add one. Open the customer, fill in the billing state, then send the draft invoice as you would any other.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
