Journals that post themselves, and budgets measured against the books
The rent accrual, the depreciation charge, the salary posting: typed out afresh every month by somebody who has typed them out eleven times already.

Written once
A template is a journal you keep: the same accounts, usually the same figures. It is checked for balance when you save it, so it cannot turn out to be wrong on the morning somebody is closing a month with it.
A schedule posts one on its own, nightly. Whether it posts or waits as a draft is the schedule’s choice: an accrual whose figures change every month wants checking, a fixed rent does not. A schedule that has been asleep raises one entry per night rather than a year of them at once, and a failure is written down rather than leaving the schedule silently stopped.
Monthly dates are anchored on the day the schedule started, so one on the 31st lands on the 28th in February and goes back to the 31st in March, rather than walking backwards a day at a time.
Budgets, against what happened
The figures alone are a wish list. The point is the third column: actuals come from the posted journals on the same accounts over the same window, so a budget cannot drift from the books it is measured against, which is the only reason to keep one here rather than in a spreadsheet.
A budget’s total is the sum of its periods rather than a figure typed beside them. A budget whose total disagrees with its months is one nobody can act on, and the disagreement is always found in the meeting.
A fix worth naming
Only the newest document may be deleted, and when it goes its number goes back to the counter. That is the point of the rule, since deleting anything else leaves a gap in a statutory sequence an auditor asks about.
The number went back to the counter and the deleted row went on holding it, so the next document raised failed on a constraint it could not explain: delete the newest draft quotation, write another one, and it refused. Uniqueness now applies to live documents only. Two documents that both exist still cannot share a number; one that has been deleted no longer stands in the way of the number it released.
Does this affect anything existing?
Nothing changes until you write a template or a schedule. The number fix changes an index and no data: documents already numbered keep their numbers.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
