Deleting a lead takes its tasks with it; a customer with documents is kept
Deleting a lead used to leave its tasks and visits behind, still open and still reminding people. They now go with the lead, and anything a customer was sent keeps that customer from being deleted.

What was wrong
A deleted lead disappeared, but its tasks and visits stayed: open, sending reminders, counting as overdue, and reading “Lead: -” because the lead was gone.
A customer could be deleted while it had a proforma invoice, bill of supply, retainer invoice or delivery challan, leaving that document pointing at nobody.
The rules now
Lead with tasks or visits
They are deleted with the lead. The confirmation lists them first: “This lead has 2 tasks and 1 visit. They will be deleted too.”
Lead with a document
A lead with a quotation, proforma, sales order or invoice cannot be deleted until that document is dealt with. The confirmation lists them.
Customer with any document
Invoices, quotations, sales orders, credit notes, proformas, bills of supply, retainer invoices, delivery challans, deals, projects and payments all keep a customer from being deleted.
Undo within 60 days
A deleted lead and the tasks and visits deleted with it can be restored together from the new recycle bin.
Why a document blocks a delete
A document sent to somebody is a business record, and a cancelled invoice or credit note has to be kept for GST. So a customer with any document, cancelled or not, stays. To remove such a customer, delete or cancel the documents first where the rules allow.
This is how Zoho and Salesforce behave: follow-up work goes with the record, business documents do not vanish.
Does this affect anything you already have?
Tasks and visits left behind by leads deleted earlier were moved into the recycle bin together with their lead, so restoring that lead brings them back.
These rules were added for every business. If you had changed a delete rule yourself in Settings → Dependency rules, your choice is kept.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
