Sidebar counts now show only what each person can open

Somebody allowed only their own leads saw "1 lead" on the list and 10 beside Leads in the sidebar. Every count in the sidebar now follows the same access as the list it opens.

What was wrong

The number beside each module in the sidebar counted every record in the business, whatever the person looking was allowed to see. A sales executive limited to their own leads opened a list of one lead under a badge that said 10, and Documents showed 14 to somebody with no files of their own and nothing shared with them.

What you will see now

✓

The badge matches the list

Each count is worked out by the same rule as the list it opens, so the number in the sidebar is the number of rows you will find there.

👥

Own, team or all

A role that sees only its own records, its team’s, or everything is counted that way, including records a person is assigned to and records shared with them by a sharing rule.

📈

The hierarchy and peers

Records of the roles reporting to yours, and of your peers where the role shares data with peers, are counted when the list shows them.

📁

Documents

Counts the files you own, files shared with you, and files in folders shared with you or your team.

🏢

Warehouses and branches

Somebody limited to some warehouses or branches is counted within them.

🔒

A save no longer locks someone out

Saving a person’s details from a Users screen opened before they accepted their invitation could put them back to invited, after which they could not sign in. That can no longer happen.

Does this affect anything you already have?

No. Nobody gains or loses access to any record: only the numbers in the sidebar change, to match the lists people already saw. Administrators and others who see everything see the same counts as before.

Pricing

Start with what you need. Grow into the rest.

Per user, per month. Every plan carries the whole product’s foundations (custom fields, roles, reports, documents and notifications) and differs only in how many modules are switched on. Change plan whenever you like; nothing is re-entered and nothing is lost.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
