A TDS challan clears the deductions it pays, and the register picks its year

Record a challan and tick the deductions it pays; the amount follows the ticks. Deposited and Still to deposit now count the deductions a challan has cleared, so TDS deducted in March and paid in April clears. The tiles stay the year's whatever the list is filtered to, and a year box picks the financial year.

What changed

✅

A challan clears its deductions

Record a challan lists every deduction no challan has cleared yet. Type the section and its deductions are ticked. The amount follows what is ticked, and you can still type the challan’s own figure if it paid interest as well.

📅

March TDS paid in April

Deposited counts the deductions a challan has cleared, in the year they were deducted. TDS deducted in March and paid on 7 April used to show as still to deposit for ever.

📊

Tiles that hold still, and a year box

Filtering the list to vendors or employees changed the tiles at the top. They are the whole year’s figures now, and a year box beside the list shows an earlier financial year, its export included.

🔒

One challan for each deduction

A deduction already cleared cannot be ticked into a second challan: the second is refused and nothing is saved. On a phone, each row of the register shows its TDS rather than the amount it was worked out on.

Does this change anything you already have?

No. A challan saved without ticking any deductions still counts as deposited, in the year of its own date, as it did before.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
