Visits: proving you were there, not saying so
A visit somebody types the address of is a claim. One with coordinates on it is a record.

A visit is its own record
Not a note on a timeline, because a visit has what a note has not: somewhere it happened, somebody who was met, and a real difference between intending one and having made it. It is also what a field team’s week is made of, so it gets a list of its own under Sales, with a board, a pivot and everything else a list here has.
It shares a task’s party keys exactly, so a visit lands on the Visits tab of the same lead, deal, customer or vendor without inventing a second way of asking what something is about. And it takes custom fields and rules in Settings like any other module, so a business records what a visit means to them rather than what occurred to us.
What a visit carries
Where it happened, captured
Taken from the device with the moment it was read and how accurate the fix was. Accuracy is kept because “within eight metres” and “somewhere within two kilometres” are not the same evidence, and a pin on a map cannot tell them apart. It shows as a map with a marker.
Who was actually met
Typed at the door rather than chosen from a list, because the person who answers is very often not the person on the record. Who the visit is about is one search box over leads, customers and deals together: people know the name, not the category.
Photographs, from the camera
Take a photo opens the camera straight away on a phone. Images show as pictures rather than as rows saying IMG_4471.jpeg. Somebody who took six photos of a site wants to see six photos.
Made, moved, or called off
All three on the record beside Edit. Calling one off keeps it: a visit that was planned and did not happen is itself a thing that happened, and the reason is usually the useful part. It simply stops being owed.
One you have already made
Most visits are written up afterwards, in a car outside. So the form asks first whether it has happened or is being planned, and then asks different things: the day it happened and who was met, or the day it is for and nothing else yet. One form, because that first answer is what decides the rest.
A pin on the list
Beside the calendar and the telephone, red once the day has passed and orange on the day, and gone the moment the visit is made or called off.
Suppliers too
A vendor is called on as often as a buyer is: a factory audit, a sample collected, a payment argued out across a desk. A visit can be about a vendor, with its own Visits tab on the vendor record.
Two things that came with it
A promised call can now be called off as well as made or moved. That was the one of the three it was missing. Called off rather than deleted, for the same reason: it was promised, and losing that loses half the story.
And “Related to” now shows only the lookup it names. A task or a visit carries lead, customer and deal boxes side by side, and all three showed at once, so somebody who had just said “lead” was left to work out that two of them were none of their business, with room to fill in a second by mistake. Nothing chosen still shows all of them, and a box that already holds a link is never hidden.
Does this affect anything existing?
Visits are new, so there are none until you make one, and nothing already in your records changes.
The location is only ever read when somebody presses the button, and only for the visit they are recording. If the browser refuses, the visit still saves. It simply has no coordinates on it, which is the same as every visit before today.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
