Items get photographs, categories, a stock figure and variants
A stock figure people can set, recorded as a movement with a reason, so it can never drift from the ledger behind it.

Photographs, and one of them the main one
An item can have as many photographs as it needs and one of them is marked the main one, the one that shows in the item list, in the picker and on a quotation line raised from it. Marked, rather than assumed, because “the first one uploaded” is not a decision anybody made.
They can be chosen while creating an item, not only after saving it. An upload needs something to attach to and a create form has nothing yet, so the files are held, previewed, and sent the moment the item has an identity. Each can carry a caption: what the photo is of, when that is not obvious. It is the difference between a gallery and a pile.
And the rest of it
Categories with a screen
Inventory → Categories. The tree on the left, what is in the one you clicked on the right. Create, rename, move, and import a list of them by pasting it: a category on a line, a subcategory indented under it.
A stock figure you set
Enter what you actually counted. It does not overwrite a number: it records the difference between what the ledger says and what you found, as a movement with your name and your reason on it. That is why an item has no stock column: a figure with no movements behind it drifts, and then two screens disagree.
Variants, the way a shop means them
Give an item options (Size, Colour) and every combination becomes an item with its own SKU and its own stock. Combinations that already exist are left exactly as they are, because their prices and their stock are real.
Two descriptions
A short one for a line on a document, and a full one for the record. They were the same field, which meant either a quotation line ran to a paragraph or the item page said one sentence.
A page, not a drawer
An item opens as its own page with tabs: overview, photos, variants, stock, batches, orders, movements and a comment thread, the same one leads and customers have.
Does this affect anything existing?
Existing items keep their descriptions: what was there becomes the full description, and the short one starts empty until you write it. Nothing on a document changes.
Items already in a category stay in it. The categories screen shows what was already there rather than starting again. Giving an existing item options creates the combinations as new items; the original becomes their parent and stops holding stock of its own, so move its stock onto the variant it actually belongs to before you do that.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
