A removed person can be added again, and an invitation says what is actually wrong
Remove somebody from your workspace, then try to add them back with the same email address, and it refused: Could not save. That value is already in use. In use by whom? By them, by a record that had been removed and that nobody could see or bring back. Adding that address again now restores the person it belonged to. Separately, an invitation that would not open said it had expired when it had not.

The address was held by somebody invisible
Removing a user does not erase them, and that is deliberate. Their record stays so that the quotations they raised still say who raised them, the customers they own still have an owner, and the history still names the person who made each change. Wipe the row and all of that becomes blank.
But an email address has to be unique in a workspace, and that rule is enforced by the database, which counted the removed record. The check inside the app did not. It skipped removed people, quite reasonably. So the app said the address was free, the database said it was taken, and you got a refusal that named nobody.
It also explains why the message was so unhelpful. Because the refusal came from the database rather than from the app, there was no field name to put in the sentence, hence “that value” rather than “that email address”.
Adding them again brings them back
Use an address that belonged to somebody you removed, and JAI CRM now restores that person rather than starting a second record for them.
This is the right answer, not merely the convenient one. Everything they ever did still points at their original record. Start a fresh one and the new person is a stranger with an empty history, while every document they raised stays credited to somebody removed. Restoring keeps the two joined.
They come back with the details on the form in front of you: the name, roles, branches and warehouses you have just filled in, not whatever they had before they were removed. Their old roles and site access are cleared first, so nothing is inherited by surprise.
It is recorded plainly. The history shows “Restored, removed earlier” rather than pretending they are new.
An invitation that would not open
The same workspace reported an invitation that said it had expired. They resent it. It said the same thing.
It had not expired. We checked: the invitations were live, unused, and good for another fortnight. Opening the link on our side worked perfectly.
Three quite different things could go wrong when somebody opens an invitation (the link is not one we issued, the link has already been used, or the invitation really has run out), and all three said the same sentence: that invitation has expired, ask for another. Only one of the three is fixed by resending, so the wording sent somebody resending a perfectly good invitation.
Each now says which it is, and what to do about that one. An already-used invitation tells you to sign in instead.
Two more things closed while we were here
Removing somebody now cancels their pending invitation
Their signed-in sessions were already ended the moment you removed them. An unused invitation was not, and an unused invitation is a fortnight-long key to the door you had just locked. It now expires with them.
And an old link cannot let a removed account back in
If an invitation issued before this change is opened by somebody whose account has since been removed, it refuses and says so, rather than quietly putting them back.
Also in this release
A converted lead’s history now shows on the customer. Open the History tab on a customer that came from a lead and you can see what was changed while it was still a lead, marked as such. Before, the trail began at the moment of conversion, which was usually minutes ago. The same applies to a deal opened by that conversion.
The history is joined when it is read, never copied. An entry saying a particular thing happened to a particular record on a particular day should not be duplicated onto a second record. A history that can be rewritten is not a history.
Comments and the Activity log are now separate. They were the same underlying entry, so the Comments tab and the Activity log each listed the other’s items, and anything you wrote appeared twice. A comment is what your team says to each other about a record; the Activity log is what actually happened with the customer. Existing comments have been sorted into the right place for you. Anything we could not identify with certainty was left in the Activity log rather than moved on a guess.
Does this affect anything you already have?
Nobody was removed, restored or changed by this release. The fix changes what happens the next time you add somebody, not anybody already in your workspace.
Pending invitations are untouched unless the person they were for had already been removed.
Existing comments were re-filed. Remarks left through the Comments panel now appear only under Comments, and no longer in the Activity log. Nothing was deleted. If something you expect under Comments is not there, it will be in the Activity log, and you can tell us.
The Android app needs updating for the tab changes. Install version 1.3.17. The user and invitation fixes are on the server and already apply however you sign in.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
