“Their own records” now means their own records

In Roles you can say a person sees only their own records. For activities, POS sales, POS shifts and timesheets, that setting was saved but not applied. It is applied now, so some people will see fewer records than they did yesterday.

What was wrong

Every role lets you choose how much a person sees: their own records, their team’s, or everything in the business.

In four places the choice was saved and then ignored. A salesperson set to “their own records” could still read every colleague’s calls, emails and meetings. A cashier could see every other cashier’s sales and shifts. The screen said one thing and the app did another.

Activities

Calls, emails, meetings and notes: the person who logged it.

The cashier who rang the sale.

⏱

POS shifts

The person who opened the till.

◷

Timesheets

The person whose hours they are.

And where it could never apply

Some records belong to the business, not to a person: a warehouse, a tax rate, a price list. “Their own” means nothing there, so the choice is no longer offered instead of being offered and quietly ignored.

Entries the system writes by itself (an invoice being cancelled, a quotation accepted by the customer) stay visible to everyone who can see the record, because they are its history, not anyone’s personal work.

Does this affect anything you already have?

Yes, some people will see fewer records. Anyone on a role set to their own or their team’s records now sees only those in the four areas above. Nothing was deleted. If a role should see everything, set it to Everything in the business in Settings → Roles.

New workspaces also give the Sales executive role the Events module, since they are the people who work the stall. In an existing workspace, tick it on the role.

Pricing

Start with what you need. Grow into the rest.

Per user, per month. Every plan carries the whole product’s foundations (custom fields, roles, reports, documents and notifications) and differs only in how many modules are switched on. Change plan whenever you like; nothing is re-entered and nothing is lost.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
