Just Dial works the other way round from IndiaMART. Nobody asks Just Dial for leads: Just Dial sends each one to a link you give them, the moment the caller is connected or the enquiry is made. This screen makes that link, and turns every lead that arrives at it into a lead here with Just Dial as its source.
Setting it up
- Open Settings → Integrations and press Set up on the Just Dial card. Just Dial is free on every plan that has CRM, so there is nothing to buy or add to your plan first.
- Switch Receive leads from Just Dial on. Your link appears under Your Just Dial link.
- Press Copy and send the link to your Just Dial relationship manager. Ask them to set it as the lead push URL (sometimes called the lead API or CRM integration) for your listing.
- Just Dial’s team switches it on at their end. This usually takes a few working days and is the only step that is not yours.
- When the first lead arrives, Last lead shows the time and the lead appears in The last ten leads.
To check the link yourself, open it in a browser. It answers READY and adds nothing to your leads.
Treat the link like a password. Anybody who has it can add leads to your list. If it has been shared where it should not have been, press Make a new link: the old one stops working at once, so send the new one to Just Dial straight away.
What arrives
| From Just Dial | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| Name, with Mr or Ms where they send it | The lead’s name |
| Mobile, or phone when there is no mobile | Phone |
| Email, company | Email and company |
| Area, city, pincode | Address line, city and PIN code |
| Category searched, message, your branch, lead type | The lead’s notes, and the first entry in its history |
| Do Not Call registration | A line in the notes, so whoever calls back knows before any promotional call or SMS |
| Everything else they send | Kept exactly as sent, beside the lead, so nothing is lost |
What happens to a lead
| Setting | What it decides | What to choose |
|---|---|---|
| Give the lead to | Who owns a lead no assignment rule claims | Your assignment rules decide first, the same as for any other lead. This catches the rest; leave it empty and they wait on the board |
| Land it at stage | Which column of the lead board it appears in | Copy it from your lead board: it must match your Lead stage list exactly |
| Attach to somebody we already have | Whether a repeat caller becomes a second record | On, almost always. The second lead is written onto the lead or customer whose phone or email matches |
Switching the integration on also adds Just Dial to your Lead source list, so it appears in the source filter and in the Lead sources report beside your other channels.
Sent twice, still one lead
Just Dial gives every lead its own reference, and this remembers each one. If the same lead is sent again, even twice in the same second, it is recognised and nothing new is made.
Knowing it is still working
| Tile | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Leads received | Everything Just Dial has ever sent here |
| Last lead | When the last one arrived. A listing that normally sends a few a day and has sent nothing for a week is worth a call to Just Dial |
| State | Working, or Attention when the last lead could not be saved |
Switched off, the link refuses new leads, and Just Dial’s side sees that they were refused. Switch it back on and the same link works again.
A worked example
A printing business in Jaipur switches Just Dial on, copies the link and emails it to their relationship manager. Three days later a caller from Malviya Nagar looking for visiting card printing arrives as a lead at New, assigned to the sales executive their assignment rule names for Jaipur. A week later the same caller asks about brochures; with Attach to somebody we already have on, it is written onto the same lead rather than making a second one.
