Choose your colour: twelve themes, or a colour code of your own

The Appearance panel now has twelve colours to choose from, gradients and solids, and a colour code of your own, as well as light, dark and system.

What is new

The palette icon in the top bar opened light, dark and system and nothing else. It now opens a colour as well: the colour JAI CRM is drawn in, for its buttons, links, the selected row and the focus ring.

Twelve colours

JAI Blue, Aurora, Nebula, Solar, Deep Ocean, Quantum, Dusk, Indigo, Violet, Emerald, Rose and Graphite.

Gradients and solids

Six of them are gradients, which also fill the main buttons and the round plus. The other six are solid colours.

A colour of your own

Choose Custom, pick a colour or type its code, and use it. A very light colour is drawn a little darker so white text on buttons stays readable.

A default for the business

Settings, Business profile, Appearance now sets a default colour as well as a default mode.

Does this affect anything you already have?

No. Everyone stays on JAI Blue until they or their business choose otherwise, and documents you send are unchanged. The guide to appearance has the steps.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
