Bank accounts in Settings, on every plan

Settings, Business profile now has a Bank accounts tab. Add the account your customers pay into on any plan, Books or not, and it prints on quotations, proformas and invoices. Where Books is on, it is the same list as Books, Bank accounts.

What was missing

Bank accounts lived in Books. A business on a plan without Books, CRM with Sales documents or Subscriptions, typed its bank details into a few boxes under Settings, Sales documents instead: a second place, holding one account, with no name and no way to keep more than one.

What is new

🏦

A Bank accounts tab

Settings, Business profile has two tabs now. The second lists the accounts customers pay into, each with its bank, branch, account number, IFSC and UPI ID.

🔗

One list, two screens

Where Books is part of your plan, these are the same accounts as Books, Bank accounts. One added or changed in either place shows in both.

🧾

On every invoice

Accounts set to Show on invoices print under Payment details, at most two, and the UPI QR uses the first one’s UPI ID.

🔒

Kept, not deleted

An account Books has recorded a payment through cannot be deleted. Mark it inactive instead: it stops printing and its history stays.

👥

No new permission

Whoever looks after the business profile, or keeps bank accounts in Books, can keep them here.

Does this affect anything you already have?

Accounts already in Books are listed on the new tab as they are, and print exactly as before. The boxes under Settings, Sales documents are gone; no business had filled them in, so nothing moved. Print a UPI QR code stays where it was. Opening balances, statements, petty cash, wallets, cards and loans stay in Books.

Pricing

Start with what you need. Grow into the rest.

Per user, per month. Every plan carries the whole product’s foundations (custom fields, roles, reports, documents and notifications) and differs only in how many modules are switched on. Change plan whenever you like; nothing is re-entered and nothing is lost.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
