Charcha: polls, voice notes, and notifications when JAI CRM is closed
Ask a question with choices and watch the votes come in, send a voice note instead of typing, and get a notification in your browser even when JAI CRM is closed. Administrators can also choose to remove messages older than a set period.

What is new
Polls
A question with up to ten options, one answer or several. The counts move for everyone as people vote, and a closed poll keeps its result.
Voice notes
Press the microphone, speak for up to five minutes, send. It plays on a computer and on a phone.
Notifications when closed
Turn on Push to this browser once in Charcha settings. A direct message, a mention, a broadcast or a meeting reminder reaches you even when JAI CRM is closed.
Who wrote, not what
A notification says who wrote and where unless you choose to see the words. Muted chats stay quiet, and a status that pauses notifications pauses them all.
Remove old messages
Administrators can remove messages older than 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year or 2 years, each night, with their files. Never unless you choose.
Does this change anything you already have?
No. Notifications stay off until each person turns them on for their browser, and every message is kept until an administrator chooses a period. In the Android app, a message reaches you while the app is open; notifications while it is closed come in a later update.

What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
