Charcha: team chat, channels and meetings, live
Your team can now talk inside JAI CRM. Direct chats, private groups and channels, threads, files from Documents, Drive or Dropbox, meetings with a Meet, Zoom or Teams link, and broadcasts down the reporting line. Everything arrives live, with no refresh, and direct chats are private, even from the owner.

What is new
Chats, groups and channels
Five sections: Chats, Groups, Channels, Meetings and Broadcast, each with its unread count. Your messages on the right, everyone else’s on the left.
Live, with no refresh
Messages, typing, read ticks and the bell arrive the moment they happen, usually within a fifth of a second.
Threads, replies and reactions
Reply with a quote or in a thread, mention people and @everyone, react, pin, forward, and edit with every version kept.
Files from anywhere
Attach from your computer, Documents, Google Drive or Dropbox. A copy goes into the chat, for the people in it only.
Meetings by link
Schedule from a chat with a Meet, Zoom or Teams link. Everyone invited gets a card, a reminder that rings in an open tab, and a calendar file.
Broadcast down the line
A manager sends one message to everyone under them; each gets it in their own chat, and replies come back privately.
Also
Under Business overview
Charcha is in the sidebar just under Business overview, in the top bar as a chat box over any page, and first on the quick bar.
The bell, live everywhere
Every notification now reaches the bell the moment it is made, not at the next minute.
The quick bar waits
The quick bar now rests as a small tab and comes up when the pointer reaches the bottom of the screen or you scroll up. Settings, You, Quick bar can keep it shown.
Does this change anything you already have?
Charcha is switched on for every business and every staff role can use it; making groups and channels, broadcasting and the other rights follow your roles, which you can change in Settings, Roles. The quick bar now starts hidden on every page. Nothing you entered changes.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
See it with your own data
