Webhooks now send all ten events they offer: signed, tried again, and only to the internet

Settings offered ten events to send to another system, and none of them was ever sent. All ten now go out within seconds of happening, signed with your secret, tried again when your server is down, and only ever to a public https address. Zapier, Make, n8n, Pabbly and your own server can listen.

What changed

All ten, every way in

A lead typed in or arriving from IndiaMART, Just Dial or a scanned card. A customer added, converted from a lead or made at the counter. A deal won from the Won/Lost window or the board. Quotations sent, and accepted by your team or on the customer’s link. Invoices raised, and paid in full however the money came. Payments recorded, paid online or taken at the counter. Purchase orders issued. Tasks finished.

Signed, with an id

Every delivery carries X-BB-Signature as before, an HMAC-SHA256 of the body made with your secret, and now X-BB-Delivery and X-BB-Timestamp too, so your server can check it came from us and ignore a repeat.

Tried again

If your server is down, answers with a 5xx or takes longer than 10 seconds, the same delivery is sent again after 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours and 6 hours. After 20 deliveries in a row fail, the endpoint is switched off and says so; press On to start again.

Only to the internet

An address must be https and point to a public server. Addresses inside a private network, and a cloud server’s own metadata address, are refused when you save and checked again before every send. Redirects are not followed.

Nothing kept from the answer

The delivery log keeps the status and a short reason, such as 200 OK or No answer within 10 seconds, for 30 days. What your server sends back is never stored or shown.

The secret, shown once

Adding an endpoint now shows its signing secret to copy. Before, it was made and never shown, so no signature could be checked.

A test that answers

The send button posts a signed test.ping at once and tells you what your server said, instead of saying “sent” for a test that never left.

Does this change anything you already have?

Nothing changes until you add an endpoint. Notifications, email templates and Hanu’s alerts work exactly as they did.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
