Debit notes to customers: their own emails and reminders, two webhooks, and Hanu
Debit notes to customers arrived earlier today, owed and paid like an invoice, but nothing else knew about them: the send window wrote an invoice's email, no reminder chased one, no webhook heard one and Hanu could not find one. Now a debit note says which invoice it adds to and why in every message, has reminders and webhook events of its own, and Hanu raises one from the invoice, the way the invoice's own page does.

What changed
Its own email
Sending a debit note says which invoice it adds to and why. It never repeats an invoice’s wording, which read as being billed twice.
Reminders and a thank-you
Five templates in the Library: sent, due in three days, a week overdue, a final notice at 30 days, and settled. They chase debit notes on their own ladder, apart from invoices.
Two webhook events
salesDebitNote.sent and salesDebitNote.paid, with the invoice it adds to and the reason in the payload. A listener that books invoices never receives a debit note.
Hanu finds and reads them
Ask for a customer’s debit notes, what one adds to, or how much was raised this month.
Hanu raises one from the invoice
Say “a debit note on INV/2026-27/0042 for freight of 2,500”: Hanu finds the sent invoice among those you may see, takes its GST, and saves a draft through the invoice’s own Raise a debit note, for you to check and send.
Only with your permissions
Adding one through Hanu needs the right to add and change debit notes, as on screen. A draft invoice is never added to.
Does this change anything you already have?
No. The new templates wait in Notifications › Templates › Library until you install them, and a webhook endpoint hears the two new events only once you tick them. Invoice emails, invoice templates and invoice webhooks are unchanged. One thing Hanu could not do before now works: saving a change to a document’s items alone.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
