Invitation links now say what actually went wrong

Opening an invitation link showed "That invitation has expired" whenever anything went wrong, even when the invitation was perfectly valid. The page now says what really happened.

What was wrong

When somebody opened the link in their invitation email and the page could not load the invitation for any reason, it said “That invitation has expired”. That included a phone that could not reach JAI CRM at that moment, a link already used, and an incomplete link. So people resent invitations that were still valid, and the new link showed the same message.

What changes

↻

No connection

The page tries again on its own, then says it could not reach JAI CRM and offers a Try again button. The invitation is not used up.

✓

Already used

It says the invitation has been used and points to sign in, with the forgotten-password link if needed.

🔗

Incomplete link

It asks for the link to be opened again from the email’s Accept button.

⏳

Genuinely expired

Only an invitation past its 14 days says it has expired.

🔒

Old links close when someone joins

If a person was sent several invitations, accepting any one of them closes the others, so an old email can no longer be used to set a new password on their account. Opening one afterwards says they have already joined and should sign in.

Does this affect anything you already have?

No. Invitations already sent keep working, and each one is still valid for 14 days. Resending an invitation sends a fresh link, and the earlier links keep working until the person joins. Once they join, their other links stop working; one account that had joined with a link still open has had it closed.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
