A sent invoice is now final: edit drafts, correct with a credit note
An invoice is now edited only while it is a draft. Once it is sent, it is the document your customer holds and the one GST was told about, so it is not edited, revised, cancelled or voided. A credit note corrects it, and a new invoice replaces it if needed. Quotations, proposals and orders can still be revised.

What changed
Edit while it is a draft
A draft invoice, bill of supply or credit note can be changed freely. Nothing reaches GST or your books until it is sent.
Asked before it goes
Mark as sent, Send and the status bar now ask first: once sent, the invoice goes into GST and your books and cannot be edited or revised.
Sent means final
A sent invoice, bill of supply or issued credit note keeps what it says. Its owner, tags, custom fields and internal notes can still change.
Cancel means a credit note
Cancel on a sent invoice opens a credit note for its full value. It withdraws the sale from GST and your books, keeps both on record, and gives what the invoice took back to its sales order and quotation.
Quotations stay editable until they are used
A quotation or proforma can be edited in any status, accepted or not, until an order, proforma or invoice is raised from it, and revised as R1, R2. A sales order can be edited until anything is delivered, packed or invoiced against it. The setting about editing accepted quotations is gone, since that is now how quotations work.
Finished means finished
A cancelled, void, closed, converted, paid or written-off document, sales or purchase, no longer changes, not even its date or notes. Only its owner, tags, custom fields and internal notes can. A written-off invoice comes back only through Cancel the write-off.
A filed month is closed
Mark GSTR-1 filed and no invoice, bill of supply or credit note can be issued or cancelled in that month. GSTR-3B does the same for purchase bills and debit notes. Undo on the return opens the month again.
Credit notes where GSTR-1 wants them
Credit notes to registered customers are listed as CDNR, to unregistered customers against a large B2C sale or an export as CDNUR, and notes against small B2C sales are netted into B2C small by state and rate.
Does this change anything you already have?
Invoices already sent are final from today: correct them with a credit note. Revisions made before today stay as they are, and GST reports only the newest issued version of each. Drafts are not affected.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
