Documents in another currency carry their exchange rate, and bank screens match the books

Choosing a currency other than rupees on a quotation, invoice, order or bill now asks how many rupees one unit is worth, filled in with the rate your business last used. Before, no rate was saved, so a $1,000 invoice counted as ₹1,000 in reports and the books. Bank balances and statements now include journals written on the account.

The rate is asked for

Pick USD, EUR or another currency and a rate box appears beside it, filled in with the rate you last used for that currency. The total shows in rupees too.

Never counted at 1

A document in another currency saved without a rate takes the last rate you used for that currency. With none to go on, it asks rather than counting one dollar as one rupee.

Bank screens match the books

A bank account’s balance and statement now include journals written on it, such as money the owner brings in or an asset sold for cash, and count only completed payments, as the books do.

Does this change anything you already have?

A document in another currency that was saved at a rate of 1 takes your last rate for that currency the next time it is saved. Rupee documents are unchanged.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
