What was wrong

A business set to International (VAT) was still asked for a GSTIN and a PAN, offered the composition scheme and the LUT export option, and told to choose between showing CGST and SGST separately or as one line. None of that exists for them.

Worse than noise: the CGST/SGST setting appears to govern their totals and does not.

What changed

⚑

Indian tax fields follow the country

GSTIN, PAN, TAN, CIN, MSME, composition and LUT appear when the business is in India. Values are hidden rather than cleared, so switching back finds them where they were.

⌖

The state field follows the country

The numbered list is the GST state code list: it decides CGST against IGST. Choosing “19: West Bengal” for an address in Dubai did not merely look wrong, it fed the tax engine. Outside India it is a plain field.

◍

All 224 countries

The list had six entries, which is a list of the countries somebody thought of rather than the countries customers are in.

⌗

The postal field is named for where it is

PIN code in India, ZIP code in the United States, Postcode in the United Kingdom.

◷

Time zone is chosen, not typed

It was free text, so “Asia/Kolkatta” saved happily and every date in the system was then rendered in a zone that does not exist.

▨

The logo is uploaded, not linked

A URL field asks a business to go and host an image first. The ones who manage it often paste a link to a file that later moves, and the logo quietly vanishes from every invoice printed after that.

Does this affect anything existing?

Nothing is deleted. Registration numbers are hidden when they do not apply, not cleared.

One exception, deliberately: changing the country away from India clears the GST state code, because a code left behind would go on deciding how tax is split from an address that is not in India.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
