The books now say what actually happened
A voided invoice was still owed. A credit note never reduced the profit. A partly credited invoice quietly left the GST return. Same mistake, three places.

One mistake, made in six places
Every one of these came from the same thing: a list of statuses, written out by hand when there were fewer of them, and never revisited when more were added. A report filter here, a dashboard tile there, a customer summary somewhere else, each correct on the day it was written and wrong by the next release.
The fixes are individually small and the pattern is not. There are three shared definitions now (withdrawn, unposted, not receivable), and anything totalling money asks one of them rather than spelling it out again.
What was wrong
A voided invoice was still owed
Voiding changed the status and left the balance where it was, so every figure that adds up what customers owe went on counting it. The balance goes to zero now, at source, so nothing downstream has to know the list of dead statuses to get the right answer.
Credit notes never reduced profit
The profit and loss named the statuses that counted, and the names it knew were the invoice ones. A credit note is “issued” or “applied”, so none of them was ever counted. Revenue was overstated by every credit note ever raised.
Written off and partly credited left the GST return
Same list, same fault. A write-off does not refund the tax and a partial credit note has its own document; neither takes the invoice out of the return. Both were dropping out of it entirely.
Purchase bills had no cost
Spending is recorded in two places (expense claims and supplier bills), and every report read only the first. A business that recorded its purchases properly, as bills, had no cost in its profit and loss, no input credit in its GST, and nothing in its payables.
Bad debt vanished instead of costing
An invoice written off left the revenue standing with nothing against it, so the profit was overstated for ever by everything ever given up on. It is an expense of the month it was written off in, which is where it now appears.
Cash flow was dated wrong
An outflow was dated to the day the bill was entered rather than the day it was paid, so a July payment sat in April and every month was wrong.
Buttons that put a lie in the books
Mark paid set an invoice to paid. It did not ask for an amount, did not record a payment and did not touch the balance, so the invoice read as settled while the money was still owed. The same press on Reverse produced a reversed invoice showing its full balance due, which is how this was reported.
Paid, part paid, overdue, partly credited, reversed, written off: none of these is a decision. Each is what is true once something has been recorded, and each already has an action that records it. The server refuses them by hand now, with a message naming the right one, and they are gone from the buttons so nobody has to be refused.
A document that is settled or withdrawn stops offering what cannot be done to it: no payment, no advance, no write-off, no revision on one that has been reversed. Delete appears only on drafts, which is the only thing that can be deleted.
Send, and mark as sent
Two different acts, and now two buttons. Send emails the document to the customer and records that it went. Mark as sent records that you sent it some other way (printed, posted, handed over in a meeting), which is what a quotation given out in person has always needed.
A credit note is money the customer has
It could only ever be spent on the invoice it was raised against, and the invoice’s credited figure was written by hand from the credit note’s total. Neither survives what businesses actually do with a credit.
Apply it to any open invoice of that customer, for any amount up to the smaller of what the credit has left and what the invoice owes. Take an application back and the invoice owes it again. Or refund it, recorded as money out so it appears on the bank statement. Every application is a row, and the two balances are read from those rows rather than kept beside them.
Does this affect anything existing?
It changes figures, and that is the point: the new ones are right. Reports that were understating cost or overstating revenue will move, in some cases substantially, for any business that records purchases as bills or has ever raised a credit note.
Invoices whose status was set by hand are corrected: the balance and status are recomputed from what actually happened whenever the document is opened, and a nightly sweep repairs the ones nobody opens. A reversed invoice with nothing credited against it goes back to being owed, because it is.
Credit notes already issued carry over exactly as they were. Nothing has to be re-entered.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
