TDS is booked on the purchase bill, and debit notes are raised from it
A purchase bill now books its TDS when it is entered, on the value before GST, and paying the bill settles it. A debit note is raised from the bill it reduces, and brings down the bill's TDS, its cost and its input tax credit. Purchase bills and Payments made are listed once, under Procurement.

Why it changed
TDS is due when you credit a supplier or pay them, whichever comes first, and entering their bill is the credit. It is worked out on the value before GST when the GST is shown separately on the bill. JAI CRM worked TDS out only when you paid, and on the amount including GST.
A debit note also had no way to say which bill it reduced, so one made on the screen could not be issued, and an issued one did not reduce your input tax credit.
What is new
Booked on the bill
A bill from a vendor marked TDS applicable books its TDS into the TDS register when it is opened, on its taxable value, at the vendor’s section and rate.
Paying settles it
The payment window asks for the cash due and says how much TDS the bill holds. A ₹1,00,000 bill plus 18% GST under 194J at 10%: pay ₹1,08,000 and it is settled, with ₹10,000 in the register once.
Totals that add up
A bill’s totals read like the vendor’s ledger: the total, the TDS, debit notes, the TDS on them, what was paid to the supplier, and what is left to pay.
A debit note from the bill
On the bill, choose ⋯ and Create debit note: the whole bill or part of it, drafted with the bill’s lines, then issued. A debit note written from scratch picks its bill.
TDS, cost and GST follow
An issued debit note brings the bill’s TDS down with the taxable value it takes off, and takes its cost and input tax credit back in the GST summary, GSTR-3B and profit and loss.
No PAN, no rate
A vendor with no PAN is deducted at the higher rate, and the TDS entry says why. A vendor with no rate of their own takes their section’s rate from your TDS sections.
Listed once
Purchase bills and Payments made sit under Procurement only. A business with Books and without Procurement finds them under Books, and they open there now.
The API reference
The public API reference has been rebuilt from today’s code: 32 pages and 1,993 endpoints.
Does this change anything you already have?
Open bills that carry TDS have had it booked into the TDS register, on their bill dates. A bill whose payments already took TDS the old way finishes the old way, so nothing is counted twice.
An issued debit note can no longer be edited: cancel it and raise another, so the bill and the note never disagree. In GSTR-3B, debit notes reduce your input tax credit in the month they are issued, and a month where they outweigh your purchases shows the excess as ITC reversed (debit notes).
Money paid ahead on a purchase order, before any bill exists, still has its TDS deducted at the payment, now on the order’s taxable part.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
