Invoices, bills, payments, expenses and salaries now post to the ledger by themselves
The trial balance, ledgers, balance sheet and budgets used to read journals somebody wrote by hand, so they showed almost nothing of the business. Now every invoice, credit note, write-off, purchase bill, debit note, payment, expense, salary and TDS challan posts an entry of its own, kept in step with the record, as Zoho Books and Tally keep them.

What is new
Sales
An invoice posts what the customer owes against sales and output CGST, SGST or IGST, with exempt supplies apart. A credit note turns it round, a write-off moves it to bad debts, and a payment settles it, with client TDS to TDS receivable and money not yet spent to advances from customers.
Purchases
A bill posts each line to its category’s account, the input GST you can claim, the TDS booked at the bill and what you owe the vendor. A debit note turns it round. An asset bought on a bill reaches Fixed assets, so selling it later balances.
Expenses and salaries
An expense posts to the account its category names: rent to Rent, travel to Travel and conveyance. A salary posts the gross against PF, ESI, TDS and what the person is paid. Every payment logged on them, and every TDS challan, posts too.
A ledger account for every bank
Each bank account has its own ledger account under Bank accounts, carrying its opening balance, and its ledger agrees with its balance on the Bank accounts screen.
Kept in step, never typed
Edit, cancel or delete a record and its entry follows. These entries stay out of Manual journals and cannot be changed by hand; a line in a ledger opens the record it came from. A check every night works every entry out again.
Does this change anything you already have?
Your records were posted once, from the first one, so the trial balance now shows your receivables, payables, sales, purchases and taxes. A manual journal you wrote to record money that is also on an invoice, a bill or a payment will now count twice; reverse it from Manual journals. A record worth nothing, such as a ₹0 invoice, posts nothing. A revised invoice counts once, as its newest issued version, and a refund made at the till without a customer named still comes off what customers owe. The Books profit and loss and GST returns read your records as before and do not change. Stock is not valued in the ledger yet.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
