GST returns by rate and by head, TDS on the taxable value, and statements that show money held for the customer
The accountant's check went through the GST returns, the TDS register and the statements. A B2B invoice at two rates was one row, exempt lines were declared as taxable, a client's TDS was recorded on a figure that included GST, and a customer owed money back saw a nil statement. Each is now put right.

What changed
GSTR-1 rate by rate
A B2B or large B2C invoice, and a credit note, is listed one row per tax rate, as the portal takes it: an invoice with 5% and 18% lines was one row. Bills of supply and exempt lines appear in their own Table 8 section.
3B credit by head
GSTR-3B Table 4 now shows input credit as IGST, CGST, SGST and cess, as the portal asks for it, and 3.1(c) shows nil rated and exempt supplies. An expense’s credit follows where the supplier is registered.
Exempt is exempt
An exempt, nil-rated or non-GST line on a tax invoice is declared as exempt, not as taxable value: ₹1,000 taxable and ₹500 exempt read as ₹1,500 taxable. A bill of supply’s income goes to Exempt sales in the books.
Bills of supply can be corrected
A paid bill of supply can now be credited for goods returned, and an unpaid one written off, as an invoice can. The credit note takes exempt turnover back, not taxable sales.
TDS on the taxable value
TDS a customer deducts is recorded on the taxable value of every invoice the payment settles, before GST, with the customer’s name and the financial year, as Form 26AS shows it. A supplier payment’s TDS is recorded the same way. A challan must equal the deductions it names; interest or a late fee paid with it is an expense.
Statements show money held
A customer’s statement now shows money paid on account and credit notes not yet spent, and the portal statement counts the TDS they deducted and any refund paid back to them. A cheque not yet cleared is no longer shown as paid.
Write-offs each on their own day
A second part write-off no longer moves the first into its month, and cancelling takes back the latest one only. Bad debts in reports fall in the month each was written off.
Edits say what they cannot do
Changing a payment’s customer, currency or rate, or a supplier payment’s amount, is refused with the reason, where it used to answer as if saved. A credit note dated before the sale it reverses is refused too.
What you owe a supplier
A vendor’s outstanding is now what the books owe them: TDS held back for the government is not counted, and money paid ahead or a debit note’s credit is set against it. Below nil, it says they owe you.
Does this change anything you already have?
Documents already issued keep their figures. The returns read them differently: an invoice with lines at two rates is shown as two rows, and an exempt line on an invoice already sent moves from taxable value to exempt in 3B. TDS entries made before today keep their base until their payment is next changed. A write-off already made is its own first entry and keeps its date.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
