A module you built yourself could be given to nobody
Build yourself a module, open Roles, tick it for your sales team, press Save, and the save is refused, naming a module the screen had just drawn for you.

The screen offered it and the save refused it
You can build modules of your own: a Site survey, a Sample dispatch, whatever your business has that ours does not. They appear in the Roles grid under Modules you added, with tick boxes like everything else.
Ticking one and saving answered “Some of those permissions do not exist”, naming the module the screen had just drawn. And it refused the whole role, not the one row, so the other forty changes you had made in that dialog went with it.
The effect was quiet and complete: a module you built could be opened by accounts that already reached everything, and by nobody else. Not a permissions problem you could work around. There was no combination of ticks that would save.
Why it read as the screen being wrong
The check that vets a role ran against the product’s own list of modules, a list fixed when the product shipped, and therefore written before your module existed. Anything not on it was treated as a typo.
So the message was accurate from where it stood and useless from where you stood: it said the module does not exist, about a module you had made, on a screen that was listing it. That is the kind of error people retype three times before concluding the product is broken.
It now reads your own modules from the database before deciding, which means the check happens a moment later in the save than it used to. Four places were doing it the old way: creating a role, changing one, setting an exception on one person, and issuing an API key.
What this means for you
Grant it like anything else
Settings › Roles & permissions › Modules you added. Tick what the role may do and save.
Five actions, not six
View, create, edit, delete and export. Import was offered and read by nothing.
API keys too
A key can now carry a custom module, held to what its creator holds.
Nothing to redo
Roles you saved are untouched. The ones you could not save, you can now.
Does this affect anything you already have?
Nothing changes on its own and no access widens by itself. Every role keeps exactly what it had.
What changes is that a role you were trying to write can now be written. If you built a module and quietly gave up on letting the team use it, that is worth another five minutes.

5 GB storage per workspace (organisation)
Only want this one module?
Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.
What about storage?
A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.
Annual or monthly?
Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
