A date field that offers a date, and a login the app can finish

Two faults with the same shape: a field that looked right and was not wired to what it claimed to be.

What was wrong

A custom field created as Date or Date and time was drawn as an ordinary text box. Every date in it was whatever somebody typed (5/9, 09-05-2026, next Tuesday), so nothing could be sorted, filtered or compared, and the field was worse than useless because it looked like it worked.

Separately, signing in to the Android app failed for a password that was correct. A password filled in by the phone’s password manager is written straight into the field, and the screen was reading what it remembered rather than what the field held, so an empty password was sent and refused in a millisecond.

What changed

▦

A date field opens a date picker

And a date-and-time field asks for both. Values already typed are kept and read where they can be.

⌸

Every type is checked, not just dates

The same audit was run across all field types (choice, number, checkbox, currency, lookup), so a field draws the control it claims to be.

⚿

Sign-in reads the field

The form is read at the moment it is submitted, so an autofilled password arrives exactly as typed. This affects any browser or password manager that fills a form, not only Android.

Does this affect anything existing?

Nothing is deleted. Text already saved in a date field is kept and shown; where it can be understood as a date it is read as one.

If you were unable to sign in on the installed app, install the current build and the password your phone remembers will work.

Pricing

Start with what you need. Grow into the rest.

Per user, per month. Every plan carries the whole product’s foundations (custom fields, roles, reports, documents and notifications) and differs only in how many modules are switched on. Change plan whenever you like; nothing is re-entered and nothing is lost.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
