One row, one answer

The sidebar said "All vendors" and left the rest to a filter. Three menu rows were called Purchase orders. Two screens edited the same lists.

The problem with a menu that says less than it knows

A vendor desk does not have vendors, it has a pipeline: people collected, people available, people shortlisted for a job, people approved by finance, people currently working, people who have gone quiet, and people nobody should engage again. The sidebar showed one row, “All vendors”, and left every one of those questions to somebody opening a list and building a filter.

The same release removes two duplicates that had grown up quietly: three separate menu rows named Purchase orders, and two different screens that edited the same dropdown lists.

What changed

◈

The pipeline is the menu

Prospective, available, shortlisted, approved, active, inactive and blocked each have a row and a live count. Clicking one opens the vendor list already filtered to it, so “who is shortlisted” is answered by looking rather than by filtering.

▤

One Purchase orders list, not three

Vendors, Procurement and Books each carried a row with that name, each showing part of the answer. Procurement keeps it. The vendor reading of the same orders (who we buy from, of what, how much is still open) is now a tab on that list, beside List, Kanban and Pivot. Old links land on the merged page.

≡

Dropdown lists have one home

Vendor category, vendor type, rate basis and the rest were editable on a Vendor master data page and, for other modules, in Fields and rules. Two places for one answer is how they drift apart. Fields and rules gained a Lists tab that shows the shared lists a module draws on; the vendor page is gone and its address redirects there.

⚙

Vendor settings sit with the other settings

How many quiet days move an approved vendor to inactive is a decision about how the business runs, not a list of values. It moved to Settings, next to numbering, taxes and teams.

Does this affect anything existing?

No records change. No list values change: the same shared lists, edited from a different screen.

Two addresses now redirect rather than rendering their own page: the vendor purchase order view and the vendor master data page. Bookmarks and old links keep working.

If a role was granted access to the retired rows specifically, that permission simply has nothing left to point at; access to vendors, purchase orders and field settings is unchanged.

Pricing

Start with what you need. Grow into the rest.

Per user, per month. Every plan carries the whole product’s foundations (custom fields, roles, reports, documents and notifications) and differs only in how many modules are switched on. Change plan whenever you like; nothing is re-entered and nothing is lost.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
