A Mark to column in an import now marks the people it names

An import with names in its Mark to column failed as a whole, with a server error and not one row saved. Each person in the column is now marked on the record, as if picked in the form, by their name or the email they sign in with. A name nobody in your business has, or one two people share, is listed on its row and the other rows still import.

What changed

👥

Names become people

Write the people to keep in the loop by name or sign-in email, several separated with ; or |, as in Asha Rao; ravi@yourfirm.in. Each is marked on the imported record, the same as choosing them in Mark to on the form. This holds on leads, companies, customers, deals, tasks, visits, vendors and projects.

📝

A name nobody has is named

A name nobody in your business has, or one two people share, is listed by its row with the name quoted, and the rows beside it still import. Use the sign-in email to tell two people of the same name apart.

💾

Update replaces, empty keeps

With Update chosen for rows that already exist, a filled Mark to puts its people in place of those marked on the record, as editing the record does. An empty Mark to leaves them as they are.

✅

Worked-out fields are left alone

A warranty’s cover today and a subscription’s state follow their dates. Import never offered them; a file sent through the API that fills them now imports with them left out, instead of failing.

Does this change anything you already have?

Nothing you already have changes. An import that failed this way saved none of its rows, so run the same file again and they go in, with their people marked. A custom field that holds several people now takes names and emails too: before, the words were stored as they were and named nobody.

1 GB storage per workspace (organisation)

Only want this one module?

Individual modules are sold on their own alongside the plans. See every module’s price.

What about storage?

A single module includes 1 GB of storage per workspace (organisation) and Full Suite includes 5 GB per workspace (organisation): documents, attachments, file versions and photographs, counted together for everyone in it, not per user. Add more at any time in tiers, or move to Full Suite and take the larger allowance with it. Nothing is deleted if you run close; uploads are refused with a reason, and what you already have stays exactly where it is.

Annual or monthly?

Both. Annual works out cheaper per month and is charged once at the start; monthly costs a little more and can be stopped at the end of any cycle. The card shows the per-user-per-month figure on both, so the two are comparable at a glance rather than by arithmetic.
