Three folders at the top of the mailbox answer the questions an inbox never did: what do I owe an answer to, what am I waiting on, and what did I put aside. They are worked out from your own mail every time you open them, so they are never out of date and there is nothing to keep tidy.
To reply
Every conversation whose newest email came in from a person and has no answer from you yet. Newsletters, notifications and pitches the cold email check moved out are not on it. Answer it, press Done, or archive it, and it leaves the list. If they write again, it comes back.
The folder’s count turns red only while something on it is unopened.
Waiting
Every conversation whose newest email is one you sent to somebody outside the business, with nothing back yet. Emails to colleagues and bulk sends are not on it. Each row says how many working days it has waited, read from your business’s working week and holidays in Settings › Calendar, so an email sent on Friday has waited one day on Monday, not three.
A conversation turns amber once it has waited longer than your own limit, 3 working days unless you choose 1 to 30 in Settings › My email.
Snoozed
What you snoozed, with the time each comes back. When the time comes it is back in your Inbox and on To reply. If they write again before then, it comes back at once.
| Snooze choice | When it comes back |
|---|---|
| Later today | In three hours, offered while that is still today. |
| Tomorrow morning | Tomorrow at 9 am. |
| Next working day | 9 am on the next working day in Settings › Calendar, skipping your weekly days off and holidays. When that is tomorrow, it is the same choice as Tomorrow morning. |
| Next week | Monday at 9 am. |
| A date | The day and time you choose, up to a year ahead. |
Done, Snooze and Archive are yours alone. Where your business shares mail, a colleague who can see the same conversation still sees it in their own lists.
