The buttons under an email’s subject turn it into work. Each is made through the same rules as its own screen, so permissions, numbering and assignment apply.
| Button | What it makes |
|---|---|
| Make a lead | For somebody on none of your records. Their name (or one worked out from their address), email, company and website from a business address, a mobile from their signature, source Email, and the email itself in Notes. The conversation is filed on the lead. |
| Create a deal | When the email is on a lead or a customer. Named after the subject, with a note from the email. |
| Create a task | A follow-up task, due today unless you change it, on the email’s lead, customer or deal. |
| Plan a visit | A visit for the date and time you choose, with a note from the email. |
| Log a call | A call written up now, or planned for later, on the email’s lead, customer or deal. |
| Book a meeting | The Calendar’s new meeting, with the sender as a guest and the subject as the title. Its opening lines show inside the meeting to the people who may read the email, never to guests. |
| Schedule an email | A reply with Send later already set to tomorrow at 9. Change the time if you like, write it and press Schedule; it waits in Scheduled until then. |
| Remind me | A note for yourself and a day and time. It rings in the app and on your phone, waits under Reminders in Charcha until you mark it done, and opens the email. Only you see it. |
Linked both ways
The email lists what was made from it, each opening in one press. The deal, task, visit or meeting shows From an email and opens it, but only for people who may read that email: its owner and the colleagues they share their mail with, or the people chosen for the workspace email. Anybody else sees only that it came from an email.
Delete something made from an email and the email stops showing it. Delete the lead an email is filed on and the email shows Make a lead again.
Remind me
Remind me works as it does on a Charcha message. Type what to remind you of, then press a time, or Pick a time for any day and time. The email shows Reminding you with the time; press it to change the time or cancel. When it rings you can snooze it or mark it done, and it opens the email. If you lose access to the email, the reminder keeps only your own note. It is not the bell at the top, Remind me if no reply, which rings only when nobody has answered by then.
Ask Hanu
Ask Hanu on an email opens Hanu with that email shown in the chat. Type what you want: a summary, a reply, a reminder. Typed answers use AI credits or your own AI key.
