Under Reports there is a Channel partners group with two reports, read from the same figures as each partner’s page, so the two never disagree.
What each channel partner brought in
One row per partner: firm, kind, who looks after them, referred, became customers, deals, won, win rate, won value, quoted, invoiced, collected, collected before GST, their last referral, and Quiet for an active partner with nobody referred in 90 days. Above the table are the totals and a chart of won value and money collected for each partner.
Channel partners by kind
One row per kind (architects, builders and so on): how many partners, referrals, customers, deals won, win rate, won value, quoted, invoiced and collected. Use it to decide where to spend time: on more architects, or on looking after the builders you have.
Period, export and schedule
- Choose the period at the top: this month, last quarter, this year, the last 12 months, or your own dates. Referrals count by their referral date, deals by when they were made, and documents by their date.
- Press CSV or PDF to download it.
- Press Schedule to have it emailed, for example to the sales head every Monday.
The reports appear only where Channel Partners is switched on, and only for people who may view Channel partners. Partners hidden from someone by record visibility are left out of their report.
Use cases
- A monthly review: schedule What each channel partner brought in for last month to the sales head and the owner on the 1st.
- Planning next year: run Channel partners by kind for the last 12 months to see which kind of partner to look for more of.
- Finding partners to thank: sort the report by Collected and send the top five a note.
Win rate in the report is deals won as a share of referrals, in whole percent. A partner with many referrals and a low win rate may be sending the wrong customers, or may need a faster response from your team.
Which period a record falls in
Each figure is counted by its own date, so one referral can fall in different periods at different stages: the lead by the date it was referred, the deal by the day it was made, and the invoice by its date. A lead referred in March and invoiced in May counts in March for Referred and in May for Invoiced.
