Notifications, even when JAI CRM is closed

1. Open Charcha settings with the sliders icon at the top of the Charcha list.
2. Turn on Push to this browser.
3. When the browser asks, choose Allow.
4. Press Save. Do this once on each computer or phone browser you use.

When you get one

• JAI CRM open and in front of you: no notification. The message appears, and a direct message or a mention while you are on another page shows as a note in the corner.
• Open in a tab behind another: the computer’s own notification, from that tab, once you have allowed notifications for JAI CRM.
• Closed: the browser’s notification, from our server, if you turned on Push to this browser.
• Your status pauses notifications: none of these until it clears, and a meeting reminder does not ring. The bell still lists what arrived.

What a notification says

By default, who wrote and where, not what: Govind Dadhich, Sent you a message. A lock screen is not private. Turn on Show the message in a notification to see the words as well.

Ring in the browser

A reminder, a visit you are down for, or a meeting about to start rings in an open JAI CRM tab or in the Android app, with a note in the corner. Turn Ring in the browser off to keep the note and lose the sound.

Choose how it rings, and press Hear it beside either to listen first:

• Until I answer (the starting choice): it keeps ringing until you snooze it, pick a time, mark it done or close the note. If you answer it on your phone, it stops on your computer too. It stops by itself after 10 minutes, the way a phone alarm does.
• A short chime: six beeps, once.
