The recipe for making something. Its owner is whoever maintains it — usually engineering or production planning, not the shop floor.

A worked example

A manufacturer gives each product family’s bills of materials to the engineer responsible for it, so a change to a recipe always has a named reviewer.

Caps and overflow

Nothing stops you setting either — they are offered on every module. It is simply that a daily limit answers a question this module rarely asks.
