The cross-sell reports

What each department passed on and won, who brought it in, and why customers said no.

Under Reports, Cross-sell are three reports. Each counts the deals cross-sell rules opened in the period you choose, by the day they opened, so a kitchen deal opened in September and won in October counts for September. Each counts only the deals the person running it may see.

Cross-sell: from one department to another

One row for each pair of departments, such as Tiles to Modular kitchen, with the figures across the top for all of them together.

Cross-sell: who brought it in

One row per salesperson and department: the owner of the first deal, how many deals they passed on, how many were won and at what value. Only rules set to show credit are counted. See Credit for the first salesperson.

The report Cross-sell: who brought it in, showing People 1, Deals they passed on 1, Won value 2,40,000, a bar for Rohan Mehta, and the row Rohan Mehta, Tiles, 1 opened, 1 won, win rate 100, won value 2,40,000.
The salespeople whose deals opened the next ones.

Cross-sell: why customers said no

The lost reasons on deals the rules opened, how many of each, and in which departments. If Not now, maybe later keeps coming up, the rule may be opening deals too early; lengthen the wait.

Each report has CSV and PDF, and can be scheduled to arrive by email like the other reports.

Reading the figures

A low share won with quick first contact usually means the deals open at the wrong moment; try a later stage or a longer wait. A good share won with slow first contact means the new team is being reached too late or not at all; check who the rule gives deals to, and the first task.
